It’s almost been two weeks since the first ever Teamsdagen (Teams day in English) and I just wanted to add a few thoughts about it here 😊.
Teamsdagen is the first conference in Sweden that focuses solely on Microsoft Teams, with two tracks, one for business and one technical. The 11th of March ~250 happy Microsoft Teams enthusiast gathered at Hotel At Six in Stockholm to learn and talk about Microsoft Teams. A hot topic at the day (and still is) was Corona and at that day there were no restrictions in Sweden for larger events, but it was a day of interesting alternatives to handshakes. And I’m glad we got the chance to do the conference, since then if feels like all conferences have been cancelled 😥.
The day before the conference started, we had the chance to meet all of our amazing speakers on the roof of the hotel in the cute little house called Molnet (The cloud). It was such a thrill to see all these talented people and get the chance to talk, a huge thanks to them 💖
But back to the actual day. We started with a welcome talk, we in the organizing team were nervous but ready to kick-start the day!
Then we had Therese Treutiger the vice VD of Microsoft Sweden for our business keynote, followed by Theodora Malmström from the organizing team.
After that our two tracks started, I will not talk about all of our sessions, but it was fantastic 💖.
Besides running around during the day, making sure things worked as expected and that people were happy, I also had the chance to participate in a session and two podcasts.
Diwo invited me and Adam to an epic tips and tricks battle where we battled with our best hidden tricks in Microsoft Teams. It was a fun, fast and heated battle. Unfortunately I didn’t win but I was happy anyway
WITgirls podcast (Lise and Christina) interviewed me where I talk about Teamsdagen and my one wish from Microsoft Teams. Here you can hear the episode (in English)
Vardagsdigitalisering interviewed me where I talk about a blurple nugget, you have to watch the movie to hear about it 😉. Here you can watch the episode (in Swedish)
✨✨✨
Thanks, Mårten, Linus and Theodora for a well-planned event, I think it’s ok to give our self a pat on the back 😎. I had a blast.
I'll end the blog post with a video from Teamsdagen, I hope you want to join us the next time. We'll keep you posted on https://www.teamsdagen.se 🚀
